Sikkim
Initially a different region under its own kind of monarchy, Sikkim is the most recent addition to the Union of India. The state is the second smallest state in India but is blessed with eternal beauty which makes it a global tourism heartthrob. The small state of Sikkim has great altitude difference and is blessed with huge variety of landscapes and topography, making it best for any kind of tourists. There is also room for adventures here and the full state is divided into four districts, each of which is equally beautifully but uniquely diverse. It also has glacial lakes and also consists of high altitude temples and snow covered places. It is also very popular for Yak Rides which isn’t a regular ride anywhere else.
Culture of Sikkim
The culture of Sikkim is pretty amazing is is a direct influence to the kind of history it has been through. The Lepchas and the Limboos are still considered to be the inhabitants and former tribes but now there are many coexisting tribes such as Tibetans, Nepali, Muslims, Christians and other smaller divisions. Buddhism is also hugely followed here and the monasteries are spread across the stae in large numbers.
