It surely is one of the popular weekend destination and a getaway. Matheran is one of the smallest hill stations in India and its name translates to overhead forest. It is extremely popular in terms of tourists who want a secluded paradise which can be reached after a few hours’. It has few heritage toy trains that can be used to view the station inside out and vehicles are not allowed to enter this paradise. A brave step to enrich the already beautiful hill station.
